I Fell for the Dish Mat Basket Trend (No Regrets)

I saw this floating around and thought "well, that looks suspiciously easy," which is exactly the kind of trap I fall into every single time. Turns out it actually is that easy, and now I have a basket, so I guess the internet was right for once.

Here's the whole secret: it's a dish drying mat. That's it. That's the trick. Fold it in half, sew up the sides, box the corners at 2 inches so it actually stands up like a basket instead of flopping around like a sad little taco, and suddenly you're a person who makes baskets now.
